No need for previous experience – only to match our values
Recommended by currently consists of around 15 employees, including our two co-founders Tove Oldebäck and Mattias Jansson (working as CEO and COO).
“We’re on a fast, but controlled, growth journey and are ready to take it to the next level. Therefore, we are looking for additional support and strategic sparring partners for our journey ahead. We decided that we need a board, to add a new perspective and challenge us. The main task for the board is giving input or new ideas on Recommended bys product, investments and our general direction the coming 1-5 years.
Since we are a values-driven company, and strongly believe that being genuine and authentic wins over money, status and brag, we are looking for board members that matches our values, one person to represent each value: Brave, Wise, Humble and Inspiring. “ Says CEO, Tove Oldebäck.
Invested time will be 1/2 a day per quarter where you share you knowledge and ideas with us.
These are the four requirement profiles they have created:
BRAVE
You are brave when it comes to being outside of the comfort zone and you are brave to stand up for what you believe in. You dare to do things no one else have done before. You dare to take risks and you are not afraid to fail. You might be an investor, a co-founder for a tech start-up CEO or something else you are ready to share with us.
WISE
As our WISE-person you bring knowledge to the table. You value data informed decisions and you might be known as “the one who never takes a rush decision” - because you have done your homework and know what questions to ask before we make a big decision about our growth. Your knowledge and experience might come from business development or company growth within tech-industry, or something else that can be useful for us.
HUMBLE
Being humble is a very important skill for a leader. Understanding that every person has their own journey and not everyone shares your opinions – you need to truly believe that we get better when we combine different opinions and experiences and really listens to each other and our clients. Perhaps you are an experienced leader, a mental coach or been taught to be humble the hard way?
INSPIRING
Our inspiring-person is fearless, creative and love innovation. You don’t follow structures, maybe you’ve always felt different or that you didn’t fit in any label?
Someone who is everything they truly believe in and understands that different is great. Just because no one has done it before, doesn’t mean it is a bad idea – right!?! This is the kind of inspiration we need.
