The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop, and operate the systems that power our game development platform. Your focus will be on building high-performance logic where maintainability and scalability are key.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dedicated game servers for various live titles

• Build and execute large-scale simulations to validate game outcomes.

• Design and implement core betting mechanics and game-round logic from the ground up.

• Secure the server architecture against external threats and ensure high levels of data validation and penetration resistance.

• Collaborate with the frontend and tech teams to ensure seamless communication between the game server and the Unreal Engine client.

Who we are looking for

We're looking for a backend developer who has a mind for the logic of code, math, statistics and tries to build the code as optimized as possible. Your mindset is proactive and detail-oriented, where you validate code through simulations and might be nit-picking CPU usage. You're a problemsolver who likes to work with modular systems where you take initative and own your area. More than that, you're communicative across teams and enjoy sharing technical insights with the rest of the teams.

Qualifications

• Solid TypeScript skills: You’ve spent a lot of time in backend or server-side dev.

• Real-time experience: You know your way around WebSockets and live protocols.

• Experience with DDoS and validation.

• Experience in building simulation tools and performing large-scale data validation.

• Experience with server security, data integrity, and validation-heavy environments.

• Professional fluency in English.

It is a plus if you have

• Experience from the iGaming industry or live casino development.

• Experience of multiplayer-systems

• Understanding of game mathematics, betting mechanics, and RTP calculations.

• Knowledge of certification processes for regulated gaming markets.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable server deployments.

• Experience or a background in statistics.
